ALC presenters MUST BE trained in the proper application of Alcohol Expectancy Theory. Trying to force the ALC into the standard risk and protective factor paradigm of prevention will yield ineffectual results!

Organizations using the ALC are required to have a 1-Time training from Dr. DeBenedittis or his representatives. The cost of for this training is $5,000 plus all travel expenses. The training takes 6 hours of classroom time.

Once an organization is trained, it is entitled to train new staff within its own organization at no additional charge. To ensure program fidelity, outside organizations and their staff will be required to receive training directly from Dr. DeBenedittis or his representatives before license for use of the ALC will be granted.

Continuing Education Units, certified by the New Mexico Credentialing Board for Behavioral Health Professionals are available by request for no extra charge. These CEUs are recognized in all IC&RC member states.
